As I wake up most morning, the major thought that comes to mind, is the fact that we are a country that has suffered corruption for so long, which is speedily increasing the death toll in the country, being caused by the negligence of duty by most of our political elected leaders, it’s something that has render the country on a death spot. The most painful feeling a man could ever have is the feeling of no hope, is the feeling when you know all hope has being cut short. The feeling you get went you are asked to commit an intentional suicide. The feeling you get when the bread you begged for in other to survive is being collected from your hands and you are being pushed away to die. The New Year comes every year but with the old year events and happenings crawling in, causing so much pain anguish and sorrow. The greatest pain a man could ever live in is the pain of suffering and smiling, living in a deluded world, living for the survival of today without a reasoning of a future. The days are becoming worst as even the unborn smells the harsh weather within the nation that they refuse to be born in other to escape the wrath of suffering being imposed on the nation by the cruel and evil political leader that has ruled this country ever since the birth of her. Only few struggled for the survivals of the ordinary man, majority struggled for their pockets and their well being. The suffering is long overdue but yet religious wars and tribalism has eating so deep into the reasoning of the common man “a tactics being used by our political leaders to swindle the common man”. Why don’t we embrace change, why don’t we embrace revolution now why do don’t you fight today for your children to live tomorrow why don’t we say no to political oppression and to the “suffering and smiling policy” is it not high time you hold on to your right and say NO TO RELIGION /TRIBAL WAR. That Hausa man is not your problem, That Igbo man is not your problem, That Yoruba man is not your problem, that man From South-South is not your problem, That Muslim is not your Problem That Christian is not your problem. The problem starts from you refusing to sit quietly to get the source of your own problem,( “The greatest and most powerful revolutions often start very quietly, hidden in the shadows. Remember that.” Richelle Mead ) to understand the fact that every single Nigerian is being formed from a single Nigeria and Nigeria in the map is one. And that any single thing that goes wrong with Nigeria automatically goes wrong with Nigerians and that you are a Nigerian. Is high time we understand the fact that no matter the ethnic group we belong to we are one and no matter the religion we are part of we serve one God.
NB: Every single Nigerian prays for change yet they all have little or no hope for change. Years ago we spilled Blood for an unimportant battle that took us 2½ years of constant suffering and hardship, the blood were still spilled for personal benefit. If those blood which were spilled years back in the civil war were being spilled for a more beneficial cause like the fight against corruption and the elimination of the terrible class system ruining the progress of the country then may be and just may be Nigerian should have being a better place.
